Cono Sur – Pinot Noir du Chili – Reserva Especial – Bicicleta

Le Chili exporte sans conteste les meilleurs vins d’Amérique du Sud. Le Chardonnay et le Sauvignon ont connu un grand succès sur la scène international en revanche, le terroir expressif du Pinot Noir est resté un peu plus discret. S’il est un vignoble qui a su prouver le réel savoir-faire chilien en matière de Pinot Noir, c’est Cono Sur.

Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery a été fondé en 1993, avec la ferme intention de créer des vins premium, créatifs et innovants pour séduire le monde contemporain. Paris Frivole a eu la chance de découvrir deux de leurs vins emblématiques  : Reserva Especial et Bicicleta… Verdict !

Le Pinot Noir Bicicleta a une robe sombre, aux reflets rouges violacés. Le nez est très voluptueux, c’est un panier de fruits rouges, de cerises et de fruits des bois. De légères notes fumées se font sentir. En bouche, on découvre un vin élégant avec beaucoup de caractère. Tannique et fruité, sa texture est ample. Jeune, frais, ce Pinot Noir séduit par son bel équilibre.

Reserva Especial est un Cabernet Sauvignon puissant produit à Maipo Valley, une région profonde du Chili. Ce vin épicé/fruité révèle des arômes sophistiqués. Gourmand et charnu, il s’accorde à merveille avec des viandes rouges et des fromages de caractère.

Cono Sur was born around the oldest Pinot Noir vineyards in Chile. It was the first Premium Pinot Noir produced in Chile.

Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1993, with the vision of producing premium, expressive and innovative wines that convey the spirit of the New World. The name refers to the company’s geographic position, representing wines proudly made in South America’s Southern Cone, on whose western edge lies Chile and its gifted wine valleys.

Reserva Especial

This elegant and robust Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Maipo valley, Chile’s most traditional origin. It displays an intense nose of ripe fruit like strawberries and plums, with final touches of sweet spices. In mouth, this wine is fruity, sophisticated and rich, with blackberry and juicy plum, together with harmoniously integrated touches of toasted oak.

Pinot noir Bicicleta

Dressed in fresh purple red colour, this is a voluptuous Pinot Noir with rich fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum and strawberry – a red fruit party! – enhanced by subtle smoked hints. In mouth sweet fruit notes stand out, and its fine tannins give it a great texture and a mouth filling structure. Balanced and New World styled, this is a wine of personality and elegance. Sexy, pure and simple, it’s a young and refreshing Pinot.
